Why is Frieda always eating so much grass?
Up to 90% of your dog's health is driven by what goes in the bowl. No 2 dogs are the same - and neither should be their nutrition. Stop guessing at your best friend’s health - One test can tell you if its right.
All tests are evaluated by our team of Vets. We work only with certified partner labs with accreditations and a proven track record.

Change the food. Wait. Change it again. Or measure once.
All dog owners know the struggle. Finding the right nutrition is an endless cycle - and when you finally find something that works - you have to start all over again. It’s a time consuming, not to mention expensive and frustrating cycle - that hurts your pup’s health.

We’ve helped 100K+ improve their pup’s nutrition

#1 Eating grass
This is the biggest sign that something is off. Many dog parents mistake this behaviour for illness. The truth is, most of the time, dogs will do this when they’re experiencing gut issues caused by an imbalance in their diet.

#2 Scooting across the carpet
The bottom-drag across the rug, usually blamed on worms. More often it traces back to stool that has been soft for a while, which stops the glands down there emptying the way they normally would.

#3 Scratching the door
The scratch at the door at three in the morning. Urgency that keeps coming back is one of the clearest signs a gut is unsettled, and food is the first thing to rule in or out.

#4 A stomach you can hear from the sofa
Gurgling loud enough to hear from the sofa. Every dog does it now and then. When it becomes the soundtrack to every evening, the bowl is the first place worth looking.

#5 Wind that empties the room
Funny once. Less funny nightly. Wind that never really clears up is one of the most common signs that something in the food is not being broken down properly on the way through.
How it works
Four steps, about two weeks, and the only one that takes any effort takes thirty seconds.

What we measure
The signs above are things you can see. These are the six things you can't, measured from one sample, each with a normal range beside it.

A dog's gut is full of bacteria, and most of them belong there. What matters is the mix, and the mix shifts with what's in the bowl. You get one number and the range it's supposed to sit in.

When the gut lining gets irritated it releases a protein into the stool. The more irritation, the more shows up. This is the value that separates "something is genuinely going on" from "nothing much".

The gut wall is meant to keep protein inside the body. If it starts letting protein through, it ends up in the stool instead. It's slow and invisible from the outside, which is exactly why it's worth measuring rather than guessing.

Bile breaks down fat, and certain gut bacteria change it on the way through. When that isn't happening it tends to show up here before anywhere else, which makes it a strong early hint that the balance is off.

Worms, giardia, and a few bacteria that have no business being there. Common even in dogs that look perfectly fine, and easy to miss without a test. This one comes back as a straight yes or no.

How much of dinner the body takes in, and how much passes straight through. If a lot is coming out undigested, the food itself is the first thing worth changing.

“Max has had stomach issues for years. I always thought it was because he’s a fat fuck, but the Rudel test showed me it was actually his nutrition. Their team helped me find a mix that works for him, and he’s back to his old self!”
